Busking for change and changing everything Feeble Fables aren't changing anything, It's my time to shine, like the tuna in the brine, for my pregnant paws aren't changing anything.
I love this one! its fantastic
the fine details are really great - especially the frets and strings on the guitar ( ah, gibson les paul! I love the shape of those guitars )
yeah, and I love your bold, solid style of painting. And I dig the ambiguity of certain areas where the light or dark shapes run into one another.
very awesome
( and I like the fact that you take lop sided photos of your paintings too because it shows it in the physical world, and people cant mistake it for vector computer art then, which I dont think would require as much skill to produce. Not that im meaning to put down digital art, but I just feel that theres a process in using traditional media that requires more of the artists attention and input. )
Thank you....this is one of my fave paintings. I put a lot of effort into this and it turned out better than i imagined it to.
(As far as shapes of guitars go i love Schecter - S series)
I try to use shadow to create a 'realistic' looking portrait. Hmmm how can i explian this, Like a person creates shadow i try to use shadow to create the the person so anywhere that catches light remains white. Does that make sense ? Sorry if it doesnt im useless at explaining stuff.

Hell yeah! James Bourne thinks im talented - how awesome :joy:
that makes perfect sense!
and it blows my mind that you can create something so real and expressive from just utilising the form of shadows on a person/object.
its just fantastic.
