Im going to Egypt!!We're going to:

-Valley of the kings
-Valley of the queens
-Hatshepsuts temple
-hot air balloon ride over the valley!
-Kom ombo
-Philae
-Abu Simble
-Colossi memnon
Not bad for just 8 days eh, the price was a little steep though at £777 each! However it is a 5 star cruise and to see all of the above i think its worth it! So to pay for this once in a lifetime holiday ive been working my arse off which is why there has been no art work submitted for months. I hate not being able to draw but by the time the weekend comes around im shattered and all i wanna do is sleep. I have like 20 unfinished pieces sitting on the table...i will eventually get around to finishing them. I am working on the final sarcophagus of Tutankhamuns ive previously drawn the other 2 so im hoping to get this one finished in the next couple of weeks

And you chose a good time to go! Cos January is obviously cooler...and you dont wanna go in summer cos you'll fry lol and doing an 8 day cruise is cool to, we did a 7 day and my parents did a 5 day the first time...a 5 day one is mad

Abu simbel is the main place i want to go, the temple just amazes me. Gutted your not allowed to take photos in there, i wasnt aware of that! I knew you couldnt take them in the tombs of the valleys though. Anywhere else that cameras are not permitted ???

Most places you can take photos, I think it was just the inside ones they didnt really want you to.
And just wondering, I know youve said all the places your going, but have they mentioned Dendara Temple by any chance? Cos we got the option to do that as well and it was great!

The dendara temple isnt in the list of tours included in the cruise nor is it with the excursions. I do plan on seeing as much as i possibly can though, so whatever is offered ill go. Taking lots of extra cash with me for the excursions too - gunna drive my boyfriend insane haha.

Lol yeah, buy lots of stuff XD Oh and on that subject, in case you didnt know, in a lot of places you go there are like little markets and unless you really want to buy something its best to ignore them cos sometimes they pester you, one guy followed us for almost 10minutes cos we liked something but didnt want to pay as much as he wanted! It was crazy XD
